    Description

    Vintage FIrst Aid Kit
    Another great find!  This is a 1920's / 30's First Aid Kit manufactured
    by the Mine Safety Appliances Co. from Pittsburg, PA.  The metal box
    is in Very good condition for its age, it has a little surface rust here and
    there, but none of it goes through.  We didn't want to damage the original
    condition, but its new owner may be able to clean the box up.  The clasp
    functions as it should, and hte handle is intact, as is the emblem on the
    front lid which has the MSA Circle logo and
    "FIRST AID KIT".
    Now for the good stuff....
    IT'S FULL OF 17 BOXES OF FIRST AID STUFF!!!!
    8 of the boxes are marked MSA and include the following:
    Ammonia Inhalants
    Waterproof Adhesive Compresses
    Tourniquet and Forceps
    Tannic Acid Jelly
    Poison Ivy Treatment
    4in. Gauze Bandage x2
    2" Compress
    3 of the boxes are from Davis Emergency Equipment Co.
    and include the following:
    Iodine Applicators

    3 of the boxes are marked P-K from Burroughs Wellcome & Coand include:

    The graphics on the outside of these boxes are so cool!

    actually use any of these, but we thought we'd mention it just in case.
    Some of the boxes have a little wear, one has an end piece that came
    off, but considering the age of this kit, it's in pretty good shape!
