This auction is for a antique ring. It has a center stone, which I believe is banded agate. It is nicely set with four prongs, and a etched border around it. The ring is unmarked, and has not been tested to see if it is gold, or gold filled. Band is a bit roughly made, and not a real smooth finish on the inside. Measures a size 8. There is a fine hairline in the stone, which can be seen under magnification. I didn't notice it until I loaded the photos. It isn't really noticeable, with the naked eye. There are also a few light scratches. This is also very minimal. Face of ring is 1 inch high, and about 5/8 across.
