We've added four user-programmable presets to iTrip Auto for Sansa to make this the hardest-working iTrip for Sansa ever. Play your Sansa's music on your car's stereo system without wires as it charges so you arrive at your destination fully charged ready to go.
Just plug into your car's 12 V accessory outlet or cigarette lighter, set your radio to one of iTrip Auto's pre-sets and iTrip does the rest. iTrip's digital FM radio broadcaster sends music from your Sansa to a clear, open frequency on your car's FM radio in crisp, clear FM stereo. And once you find that perfect station, iTrip Auto can remember the setting with on of four user-programmable pre-sets.
This is also our most compatible iTrip for Sansa ... we've also updated iTrip Auto's compatibility so it works with the new Sansa Connect along with Sansa's e200 and c200 series players.

Will the iTrip Auto for Sansa charge my Sansa c100?
Although compatible as an FM transmitter, it won't charge this particular Sansa model because that player is powered by a replaceable AAA battery.
Why does it shut off automatically?
The iTrip Auto for Sansa was designed to shut itself off after a minute or so if no audio is present. This feature is useful in circumstances such as when you leave the iTrip plugged into your car's outlet while you're away.
Which Sansa players are compatible with the iTrip Auto for Sansa?
The c100 (audio only), c200, e200, and Sansa Connect models are all compatible.
Why can't I change the volume using the controls on the Sansa?
The iTrip Auto for Sansa receives audio from the bottom dock connector port. This volume level is fixed and cannot be adjusted. To change volume, use the controls on your radio receiver.
I don't hear any audio from my iTrip Auto for Sansa.
It's very likely that you just need to update the firmware of your Sansa player.
Where is the Station Finder software?
We have a new web-based Station Finder called SmartScan.
SmartScan StationFinder tells you the best frequencies to broadcast through when using any of our iTrip family of iPod transmitter devices. No matter how you're accessing StaionFinder, the application automatically formats the page for your device, including support for Apple's new iPhone as well as desktop and mobile phone browsers. No matter where you are in the US, you can identify the clearest frequencies to use.
