Antique B & W PHOTO - TRUCK COAL MINING PITTSBURG KANSAS

This is antique
Black and White PHOTO
that I found in my parents (Elmo and Dorothy Scalet) photo’s that I thought was very interesting.
My father and Grandfather’s were all coal miners.
The antique truck is cool and so is what it is doing ~
Waiting for a load of shale or coal!
Printed on the side of the truck is:
B. DeGASPER - COAL CO. - MACHINED MINED
.
The photo measures approx. 4-1/2 x 3-3/4 inches.
There is a tear on the bottom right hand corner of the photo.
I thought this would be great interests to the history of Coal Mining in Kansas – Pittsburg, Kansas!!
